OBTAIN A REPEAT PRESCRIPTION?

The Cloisters Medical Practice provides a repeat prescription service. It is your responsibility to re-order medicines before your supply runs out. If you forget to renew your prescription we may not be able to rectify the situation straight away.

Prescriptions can only be processed if your medication is on repeat and it is still within your annual review date. Please allow 2 working days. For all prescription queries please ring 01543 440920.

Please allow two full working days for your request to be processed. This allows time for your request to be discussed with your doctor if necessary or to contact you if there is a problem.

Whenever possible, in order to minimise the risk of error, you should use the right hand side of your prescription to order your next supply of medicines. Just tick the items you require and leave the request slip at reception or the pharmacy of your choice. Alternatively, you can post your request to the surgery - please include a stamped addressed envelope.

You can also arrange for your prescriptions to be collected and prepared for collection by a local pharmacy of your choice by prior arrangement with them. If you are housebound, a delivery service is available from the pharmacy.

Non NHS Services

The doctors are happy to undertake private medical examinations and reports, eg pre-employment medicals, insurance claims, holiday certificates, private medicals, private certificates, fitness to drive medicals etc. We also act as examiners for several life insurance companies. Should we be asked to examine you for their purposes the company will be responsible for the fee.
