The doctors are happy to undertake private medical examinations and reports, eg pre-employment medicals, insurance claims, holiday certificates, private medicals, private certificates, fitness to drive medicals etc. We also act as examiners for several life insurance companies. Should we be asked to examine you for their purposes the company will be responsible for the fee.
In response the wishes of people in this area, we have set up a private service to allow patients to have the HPV (Human Papilloma Virus) vaccine. This virus can lead to cervical cancer. The clinic is run by GPs from local surgeries, outside usual surgery hours. It is a private service, outside the NHS but designed to complement NHS care. For more information please contact Rebecca Orgill 0n 01543 440935. Click here to view the patient leaflet.
The Freedom of Information Act 2000 obliges the practice to produce a Publication Scheme. A Publication Scheme is a guide to the 'classes' of information the practice intends to routinely make available.
We strongly support the NHS policy on zero tolerance. Anyone attending the surgery who abuses the GPs, staff or other patients be it verbally, physically or in any threatening manner whatsoever, will risk removal from the practice list. In extreme cases we may summon the police to remove offenders from the practice premises. back to top Copyright © Oldroyd Publishing Group Limited. All rights reserved.
