We are unable to accept requests for repeat prescriptions by TELEPHONE unless you are housebound Swine Flu Vacination We are offering the swine flu vacination to all patients with a Chronic Illness, aged from 6months , with a chronic illness such as asthma, copd, heart problems kidney problems liver problems, diabetes previous stroke or TIA or you have a condition that makes you susceptible to infections ( immuno-compromised). Pregnant women. Household contacts of immuno-compromised patients. Please contact the surgery if you need more information. FOR FURTHER INFORMATION PLEASE VISIT
MMR VACCINE Department of Health Guidelines suggest that all children between 5 - 18 years of age should have 2 doses of the MMR. If you have not had two doses and you would like the vaccine please phone 01543 416655 to make an appointment with the practice sister. BANK HOLIDAY CLOSURES If you require medical treatment during this time please ring 01543 414318 and your call will automatically be transferred to Badger Harmoni, the Out-Of-Hours Medical Service. ON-LINE APPOINTMENT BOOKING Is now available and if you feel this would assist you, please contact the surgery for further details. COMMUTER SURGERIES We offer early morning and late evening appointments on the following days for those patients who cannot attend during normal working hours: Monday and Wednesday 7am-8am Wednesday 18.30-19.30 PROTECTED LEARNING The Practice will close at 2pm on Tuesday 9th March reopening as usual Wednesday 10th March at 8.30am. HPV Vaccination Any female patient born between the 1st September 1990 and 31st August 1993 can receive the course of HPV vaccination. Please contact the surgery and book an appointment with one of the Practice Nurses. Pneumococcal Vaccination Have you had your pneumococcal vaccination yet? The Department of Health recommends vaccination against serious Pneumococcal disease. For most patients the vaccine is only given once.
